Board continues 300-unit housing project, seeks water infrastructure answer

Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of June 17, 2026

BOURNE — Zoning Board continued a 300-unit affordable housing project and accepted a garage variance withdrawal. The board unanimously continued the public hearing for Olivia Grace, LLC's 300-unit development (25% affordable) on Deerpath Road and Heather Hill Road to July 15, 2026; Chairman James Beyer noted the project requires water infrastructure improvements and staff will work with the Town Administrator on potential grant funding. The board unanimously accepted the withdrawal without prejudice of a variance application by property owner Kimberly Loftus for a 2,800-square-foot detached garage to store a recreational vehicle; multiple abutters objected to the size and industrial appearance, and the applicant agreed to withdraw to allow for design reconsideration.
