Board of Assessors grants 10 abatements in March vote

BOURNE — Board of Assessors grants 10 property abatements worth $1.3 million. The Bourne Board of Assessors approved six real estate and four personal property abatements totaling $1,255,060 in value reductions during a March 6 executive session, according to meeting minutes. Chair Ellen Doyle Sullivan presided with members Michael Leitzel and Peter Loughman Jr, alongside Director of Assessing Rui Pereira.

The board also granted four fiscal year 2026 exemptions and denied one abatement application.
