Board of Health approves harm reduction support letter for AIDS Support Group.

Bourne Board of Health unanimously approves support letter for AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod harm reduction program. Eliza Morrison presented the nonprofit's syringe exchange and outreach services, operated via mobile vans and a Hyannis brick-and-mortar site, during the April 22 meeting; Dr. Miguel Prieto moved for the letter to assist ASGCC in securing Massachusetts Department of Public Health funding.

In a separate action, the Board imposed a one thousand dollar fine and one-day tobacco sales suspension on Cape Cod Smoke Shop for selling tobacco to a minor on March 17, 2026, with all tobacco products to be secured during the suspension day.
