Board of Health approves marijuana license opposition letter and septic variance.

Bourne Board of Health approves non-opposition for third marijuana establishment. Chair Robert Collett, William Meier, and Donald Ellis voted unanimously to issue a non-opposition letter for Bourne Cannabis, LLC to operate a dispensary at 694 MacArthur Blvd, the third such license application allowed under current bylaw regulations. The board also unanimously approved a variance allowing a replacement septic leaching facility at 854 Scenic Highway to be positioned 135.8 feet from a bordering wetland, 14.2 feet closer than the standard 150-foot setback, after Health Director Kaitlyn Shea confirmed Conservation approval.

A tobacco sales violation case against Cape Cod Smoke Shop was continued to the next meeting pending a full quorum to vote on the first-offense charge.
