Bourne Boards Prepare For String Of Late-July Meetings

BOURNE — Several town boards and committees have meetings scheduled for the coming week, while the Bourne Public Library and community groups continue summer programming through the end of July.

TOWN HALL

The town's calendar shows a run of board meetings ahead, including the Board of Registrars and North Sagamore Water District on Friday, followed by the Open Space Committee and Community Preservation Committee on Monday, the Historical Commission on Tuesday, and CITAC on Thursday. The town also continues to list board vacancies and FY2026 property record cards among its featured resident resources on the town website.

SCHOOLS

Bourne Public Schools has posted upcoming dates on its calendar, including a School Committee meeting set for Wednesday, August 5, at Bourne High School, a Bourne PTA meeting at the Bourne Middle School media center on August 12, and a "Meet the Coaches" event at Bourne High School on August 18.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Jonathan Bourne Public Library continues to offer its regular slate of digital resources, including Libby, Kanopy, Hoopla and access to the Cape Cod Times archive, alongside its museum pass program and Library of Things lending service. The town calendar also lists "Meditations on The Beach" for Sunday and "Dancing Under the Stars" for Tuesday, July 28, continuing the summer run of outdoor community events.
