BOURNE — Building Committee approves $84,688 in design invoices for two town facilities. The ISWM Building Committee unanimously approved four invoices covering design and programming work for an office and maintenance garage designed by Page, with kickoff May 7 and next meeting June 3, and a waste management facility designed by Weston & Sampson featuring an 80-foot door and extended waste processing area. Design teams are coordinating utilities with MassDOT and Eversource; a Genitech security server will match police and fire station systems.
Salt shed sizing will proceed as a separate procurement. Both projects remain on schedule, with the committee's next meeting June 23.
