Building Committee approves Page Construction for garage project

ISWM Building Committee · Meeting of March 24, 2026

BOURNE — ISWM Building Committee advances two major projects. The committee voted 3-1, with Gregory Siroonian abstaining, to recommend Page Building Construction to the Town Administrator after the firm bid one million dollars below the advertised estimate for the Office and Maintenance Garage. Chairman Asa Mintz led a unanimous vote to withdraw the capital request from the May Town Meeting and instead seek construction funding at the Fall Town Meeting to allow additional information gathering.

Lee Costa from Weston & Sampson presented a feasibility report for the Waste Management Facility showing a preferred layout with a 25,000 square foot tipping floor and two 2,250 square foot trailer bays, with geotechnical work expected to begin within the next six weeks. The committee approved $75,233.62 in invoices for design and construction document work.
