BOURNE — ISWM Building Committee endorsed Page Construction for the garage project at a significant cost savings. The committee voted to recommend the low bidder to the Town Administrator after it bid $1 million below the advertised estimate, with Chairman Asa Mintz, Catherine Walton, and Nolan LeRoy voting yes and Vice Chair Greg Siroonian abstaining. In related action, the committee unanimously voted to withdraw its capital funding request from the May Town Meeting for the waste management facility and instead request funding at the Fall Town Meeting to allow time for gathering additional information.
