BOURNE — The Bourne Conservation Commission voted unanimously to approve permits for MMA parking expansion and amendments to maritime projects. The Commission issued a final Order of Conditions for MMA Satellite Parking Lot C expansion on Taylor Road, allowing the existing 230-space lot to expand eastward with porous asphalt and native plantings in an AE flood zone. The Commission also amended two existing MMA permits at Academy Drive: a 2024 dredging permit and a 2022 floating dock permit affecting ocean floor.
The Commission approved a septic system at 23 Monument Neck Road and authorized recordation of a conservation restriction legal opinion at 829 Scenic Highway. Several applications were continued to March 19 pending county assessments.
