The committee voted 4-0-1 on June 23 to allow an existing roof sign to remain as a special exception and approve a redesigned wall sign, provided both use external illumination. Chair Douglas Shearer, David O'Connor, Marie Oliva, and Christopher Pine voted in favor, with M.
Elizabeth Brown abstaining. The motion specified the wall sign be approximately the size and design agreed with the owner. The committee also referred a parking lot safety concern to the Building Commissioner.
