Design Review Committee approves Uncle Jon's Coffees signage on Main Street

Design Review Committee · Meeting of March 3, 2026

Bourne Design Review Committee unanimously approves Uncle Jon's Coffees downtown storefront signage proposal. The committee approved a signage package including a composite wall sign painted "Lemon" by Benjamin Moore, window logos in vinyl lettering, and a double-sided projecting sign hanging 8 feet 10 inches above the sidewalk, all located at 85-93 Main Street. Committee member Marie Oliva raised concerns about potential window clutter; applicant Jon Pope committed to maintaining the same clean storefront aesthetic used at his locations in Marion and Mattapoisett.

The motion passed unanimously 4-0, conditioned on keeping the glass windows as presented.
