Bourne Historical Commission approves demolition of two structures at 210 Old Plymouth Road. Chair Neil F. Langille led the public hearing at which property co-owner Michael L.
Sorenti presented plans to demolish a circa 1948 dwelling originally built as a chicken coop and remodeled into two apartments, plus a 1970 house on the 2.5-acre lot. No future construction is planned; foundations will be removed and cellar holes filled. Members Deborah M.
Burgess, Neil F. Langille, Jack MacDonald, and Judith A. Riordan voted four to zero to accept the project in accordance with plans presented.
