BOURNE — Historical Commission approves $477,000 in Community Preservation Act funding. Chair Neil F. Langille oversaw unanimous approval of a $77,000 Town Hall Building Envelope Evaluation and Design Services application, with the Commission noting the building's National Register status and requiring window and structural replacements to match existing conditions.
The Commission also unanimously approved a $400,000 Cataumet Schoolhouse Hardcourt Project to replace failing tennis court surfaces with ADA-compliant closed concrete courts designed for both tennis and pickleball play. The Commission held a Demolition Delay hearing and voted unanimously to approve alterations to a circa 1924 residence at 27 Weetamoe Road, Pocasset, including cedar siding replacement and window upgrades.
