Bourne's Meeting Calendar Fills Back In Next Week

BOURNE — Patuisset Beach has reopened for swimming, Bourne's Town Hall News Flash service reported, as the town heads into a stretch of municipal and school meetings set for the coming week.

SCHOOLS Bourne Public Schools' calendar shows a run of meetings ahead. The district's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee meets July 21 via Google Meet, from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. The School Committee's next regular session is set for Aug. 5 at Bourne High School, and the Bourne PTA meets Aug. 12 in the Bourne Middle School media center.

COMMUNITY & ARTS Bourne's summer outdoor programming continues with Meditations on the Beach set for July 19, followed by Dancing Under the Stars on July 21. The Canal Region Farmers Market & Concerts by the Canal series continues July 23.

COMING UP Town Hall's meeting calendar includes the Board of Assessors on July 20, followed on July 21 by the ISWM Building Committee, the Trustees of the Veterans Memorial Community Building, and the Select Board.
