Bourne reopens Patuisset Beach to swimmers
Patuisset Beach is back open for swimming, town officials announced, giving residents and visitors a green light to hit the water as the July Fourth holiday weekend gives way to a full summer season.
TOWN HALL
The town announced that Patuisset Beach has been reopened for swimming. No further details on the reason for the prior closure were included in the town's announcement.
Also in effect: the intersection at Barlows Landing Road and Shore Road became a four-way stop on June 29, a traffic pattern change the town publicized this week. Drivers who regularly use that corridor should expect to stop where they previously had the right of way.
