BOURNE — Planning Board approved bond release for Shed Place property despite landscaping deficiencies. The board voted unanimously to release the cash bond, with interest, to Ralph Bartlett, the previous owner of 1 Katie Marie Drive, noting that approximately four to five plantings and a Weeping Willow tree were missing from the landscape plan approved in 2005. Planning Board staff member Jennifer Copeland reported the retaining wall, lighting and signage were sufficient.
The board also introduced Eleanor MacKay as the new Building Commissioner, who brings 35 years of experience in architecture and building operations, and directed staff to prepare a list of proposed zoning changes for board review.
