Planning · Meeting of June 11, 2026

BOURNE — Planning Board unanimously approves shop building expansion at Bourne campus. The board approved site plan review SPR 520 for a 5,000-square-foot wood structure at 220 Sandwich Road, funded by a $2 million state expansion grant over two years to accommodate a growing horticulture program and construction trade demonstrations. Nolan LeRoy noted students in the construction program will assist with the building's construction, with equipment primarily used for classroom demonstration.

The board also unanimously approved a lot release for 17 Ridgehill Lane in an older 33-lot development. Board Chair John Duggan introduced a Bracken Engineering redevelopment concept for the West End Rotary and proposed initiating a board recommendation to improve downtown parking and traffic flow under the MBTA Communities Act.
