Bourne Planning Board elects new officers and approves cannabis dispensary. John Duggan was elected Chair, Christopher Farrell Vice Chair, and Rob Frangieh Clerk. The board voted 7 to 0, with one abstention, to approve Site Plan Review and Special Permit SPR/SP #02-2026 for a marijuana dispensary at 694 MacArthur Boulevard proposed by Bourne Cannabis, requiring a revised landscaping plan and six-foot fencing near an abutting condo complex.
The board unanimously approved parking improvements for Cataumet Fish at 1360 Route 28A with conditions including landscape work and drainage assessment. The board unanimously denied a special permit amendment to allow a fourth lot at 431, 451, 461, and 471 Scenic Highway to access an existing shared driveway, citing concerns over an unpermitted foundation and traffic impacts.
