Select Board approves access license for sand nourishment project

BOURNE — Select Board unanimously approves coastal sand nourishment access license. The Board voted 4-0 to authorize Town Administrator Marlene McCollem to sign a license granting Robert J. Gendron and Gina F.

Gendron access across Town property at 280 Standish Road to complete sand fence nourishment required by a June 2025 Conservation Commission Order of Conditions. The temporary license runs through September 30, 2026, with all costs borne by the licensees, who must restore the Town property within 30 days of completion and maintain full liability and indemnification.
