Bourne Select Board grants affordable housing trust extension on police station site. In a separate 3-1-1 vote, the board recommended a formal information request to Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical High School seeking detailed enrollment records and budget data related to 20 Bourne students initially misassigned to the school, triggering financial implications for the district.
Chair Melissa Ferretti will sign the letter, which Vice Chair Anne-Marie Siroonian and board member Jeanne Azarovitz framed as a fiduciary duty to taxpayers; Peter J. Meier voted against and Mary Jane Mastrangelo abstained, preferring a courtesy outreach first. The board also authorized an interim Police Station Roof Building Committee using Select Board members and identified professionals to meet fall construction deadlines, with Mastrangelo dissenting over process.
