Select Board · Meeting of May 12, 2026

BOURNE — The Bourne Select Board voted unanimously to grant a conservation restriction protecting 97 acres of town open space to the Bourne Conservation Trust, preserving it in perpetuity with public access for passive recreation. The board approved new licenses for The Cape Clubhouse LLC, which will offer golf simulators, billiards and live entertainment with 8 to 10 expected jobs, and for Uncle John's Cookies. It authorized Buzzards Bay Park use for the Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride on June 2 and a bridal shower on June 7, accepted a consent agenda including appointments of community service officers and special police officers, and rescinded an April 14 decision that had temporarily seated the Select Board as the Police Station Roof Building Committee.
