The board voted 4-1 to overturn a June 2025 denial, with DPW Director Matt Sawicki confirming the estimated water loss at 238,000 to 269,000 gallons. The board also unanimously approved a $732,000 FY27 capital request for a supervisory control system linking pump stations, and a new $30,550 annual budget line for system inspections.
Both initiatives address aging infrastructure and previous engineering recommendations for capacity improvements.
