BOURNE — The Southside Fire Station Building Committee approved combined invoices totaling $226,508 for design and project management work. Saccoccio Associates received $215,648 for work through the construction document phase, voted 8-0-1; Pomroy Associates received $10,860 for February services, approved unanimously. The committee awaits Board of Health approval March 25 on the septic system design, after which pre-permitting will be complete and construction plans will proceed to bid.
Town Administrator Marlene McCollem said the Governor's office is reviewing special legislation for project bonding, with signature expected this week.
