Town Panels And Farmers Market Set For Thursday In Bourne

BOURNE — Town committees and school groups are gearing up for a busy stretch through August, with several meetings scheduled this week and school events already on the calendar for the coming weeks.

TOWN HALL

The town's News Flash feed continues to point residents toward two committee sessions this Thursday, July 30: the CITAC meeting and a session of the Bourne Community Engagement Committee. Both are part of the town's regular slate of summer governance work as officials prepare for fall planning cycles.

SCHOOLS

Bourne Public Schools has posted its upcoming events calendar, with the School Committee set to meet Wednesday, August 5, at Bourne High School from 6 to 8 p.m. The district also has a Bourne PTA meeting scheduled for August 12 at the Bourne Middle School media center, a "Meet the Coaches" event at Bourne High School on August 18, and the start of fall sports on August 24. New Teacher Orientation days are set for August 25 and 26, alongside a Bourne Intermediate School Welcome Day on August 26.
