Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of June 3, 2026
BOURNE — Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously approved a variance allowing a Pocasset property owner to replace his residential shed. Bradford Berry won approval to replace and enlarge his deteriorating shed at 1245A County Road, allowing construction at a 4-foot setback instead of the required 12 feet, on the condition that the existing shed be demolished and no future sheds be built. The board found the application met state requirements based on lot size hardship.
The board also continued Olivia Grace, LLC's comprehensive permit for a 300-unit multi-family residential development (25 percent affordable) to June 17, with application deadline extended to July 31, and ABCD Trust's foundation and garage project to July 15 pending clarification on non-conforming status.
