BOURNE — Zoning Board denied an appeal challenging a permitted aquaculture facility at 18 Wings Neck Road, Pocasset. Appellants Robert Nakashian and Kathleen Giles, represented by attorney Catherine Quijada, sought enforcement action and a retroactive supportive finding for the 2021 conversion of boat storage to shellfish farming, but the board determined the Building Commissioner made an informed decision in issuing the permit and the structure predated the appellants' purchase of their abutting property. The board also unanimously approved a written clarification that a prior decision on Lighthouse Realty Trust properties in Pocasset addressed only commercial wedding uses, continued Olivia Grace, LLC's proposed 300-unit development hearing to June 3rd, and dismissed without prejudice Kendrick Lane Realty Trust's application to replace a non-conforming residence.
