BOURNE — The Zoning Board of Appeals continued three public hearings on August 19, voting 4-1 to extend a contested pre-existing foundation case despite the board's policy against third continuances. The Slowey property case at 886 Sandwich Road involves an existing foundation that violates required side yard setbacks. The board also unanimously voted to continue Stonebat LLC's single-family dwelling request and Olivia Grace, LLC's 300-unit mixed-income housing development to September 2.
The board noted that the Slowey case needs additional research before a vote on the merits.
