Bourne Kicks Off Packed Week Of Events, Board Meetings

Bourne heads into a busy stretch on the calendar, with three outdoor community events and six municipal board and committee meetings scheduled between Tuesday and next weekend.

The town's summer events lineup continues this week with Dancing Under the Stars on Tuesday, Aug. 11, the Canal Region Farmers Market and Concerts by the Canal returning Thursday, Aug. 13, and Meditations on the Beach planned for Sunday, Aug. 16, according to the town's public events listings.

COMING UP

Six boards and committees have sessions on the calendar in the coming days. The Historical Commission and the South Side Fire Station Building Committee both meet Tuesday, Aug. 11. The Affordable Housing Trust and Bourne Housing Partnership hold a joint session Wednesday, Aug. 12, alongside a hybrid Board of Health meeting the same day. The North Sagamore Water District and the Planning Board both meet Thursday, Aug. 13.
