Select Board approves use of Monument Beach baseball field for a June 28 graduation party.

BOURNE -- The Bourne Select Board voted 4-0 on June 23 to approve a special-events application from Mitch Kirtland to use the Monument Beach baseball field on June 28, 2026, for a graduation party, subject to conditions set by all town departments.

YOUTH LEAGUES

The Bourne Youth Soccer Association wrapped its spring competitive travel soccer season and is looking ahead. In a June 6 post, the association thanked participants and wished teams luck in playoffs. Fall recreational soccer registration is expected to open in July; families who do not yet have a BYSA account are encouraged to create one to receive email updates. BYSA competes in the South Coast Soccer League for travel play and runs an intra-town fall recreational program. The association is open to all residents of Bourne and Joint Base Cape Cod.
