Select Board · Meeting of October 27, 2026

Bourne's Select Board approved a long-delayed all-alcohol package store license for Catania Fish after a multi-year process involving a 2023 approval, a state appeal, and special legislation. Attorney Adam Barnosky called it "in substance the same application as was approved by the board in 2023," and the board voted 5-0 to approve the license for co-owners Patrick and Jenny Ross at 1360 Route 28. The board also appointed five residents, including Andrew Harcourt, Jack DeWitt, Margaret Song, Charles Perry and Perry Davis, to a reconstituted Charter Review Committee with a report due by July 2027.

Chair Melissa Ferretti used public comment to respond to a letter questioning her impartiality on Cape Cod Canal bridges matters, saying it was "difficult for me to view it as anything other than a personal attack." The board also approved FY27 parking rate increases, raising the resident rate from $25 to $35, and heard a marina reconfiguration plan projecting a jump from $370,130 to at least $607,200 in annual revenue.
